Vee-groove cutting tool. Compatible with standard UT slitting mandrel.

This tool is used for cutting V-shaped grooves into gemstones. Sintered grit sizes are 600# and 1200#. The cutting angles are 90 degrees (45 degrees on each side) or 60 degrees (30 degrees on each side).

The resin-bond version is 3000# and is for prepolishing. It is also available in 90 degree and 60 degree versions.

The cutting edge can be refreshed on your UT faceting machine using a worn topper (e.g. 240# for the sintered version), an ER16 adapter, and the proper collet.
