This tool is used for cutting circles, semi-circles, and arcs. The cutting angle is 90 degrees (45 degrees on each side). Cutting edge width at the base is between 2-3 mm for the 10, 15, and 20 sizes, and from 1-2 mm for the 8 mm size.
The shaft is 6 1/4 mm so as to fit into the Ultra Tec V2, V5, or VL quill for easy sharpening of the outside edge.
Sharpening the inside edge can be done with a diamond file or the like by hand.
